Program Director:

  • Requirements:
    • Qualified as a mental health practitioner (Minn. Stat. §245I.04, Subd. 4)
    • Experience in staff management, communication, regulatory affairs, and sound judgment.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Ensure program compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Conduct audits, track outcomes, manage critical incidents.
    • Oversee staff performance and determine client appropriateness.

Treatment Director/Clinical Supervisor:

  • Requirements:
    • Qualified as a mental health professional (Minn. Stat. §245I.04, Subd. 2)
    • Experience in clinical settings, staff management, communication, and training.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide and oversee treatment services.
    • Collaborate with internal and external providers.
    • Maintain records, complete documentation, and participate in on-call rotation.
    • Lead staff meetings, case consultations, and hiring process.
    • Oversee case coordination and provide clinical guidance to staff.

Registered Nurse:

  • Requirements:
    • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
    • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (Minn. Stat. §245I.04, Subd. 4)
    • Experience in mental health services and staff management
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Work minimum of 8 hours per week in the program
  • Responsibilities:
    • Oversee health services, medication storage, and administration.
    • Conduct crisis assessments, provide counseling, and coordinate care with external providers.
    • Monitor and supervise staff related to the medication office.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker:

  • Requirements:
    • Meets qualifications for a mental health rehabilitation worker (Minn. Stat. §245I.04, Subd. 14)
    • Compassion for clients, ability to work with diverse individuals, and understanding of professional boundaries.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide rehabilitative mental health services.
    • Provide overnight supervision and assist with transportation.

Mental Health Practitioner:

  • Requirements:
    • Meets qualifications of a mental health practitioner (see Program Director requirements)
    • Strong communication skills, experience working with diverse clients, and understanding of professional boundaries.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Monitor medication self-administration.
    • Provide client education, rehabilitative services, assessments, and treatment plans under supervision.
    • Complete client documentation.

Certified Peer Specialist:

 

  • Requirements:
    • Certified peer specialist under Minn. Stat. §256B.0615
    • Understanding of professional boundaries, ability to model recovery behaviors, and compassion for clients.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide individualized peer support, promote recovery goals, and support skill maintenance.

Certified Rehabilitation Specialist:

  • Requirements:
    • Meets requirements for a certified rehabilitation specialist.
    • Understanding of professional boundaries, strong communication skills, and willingness to complete medication administration training.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Monitor medication self-administration.
    • Provide treatment supervision to other staff.
    • Provide client education, rehabilitative services, and assessments.
    • Develop individual treatment plans and maintain compliance with documentation.
