What is it? The Business Associate Agreement – Healthcare Practitioner is the HIPAA-required agreement to accompany the independent contractor agreement drafted in favor of the healthcare provider (Company).
Who is it for? This Agreement is for healthcare providers/companies who bring on an independent contract and will need to share protected health information with them.
Why do I need it? This is needed in order to share confidential protected health information to a Healthcare Practitioner independent contractor.
When do I use it? This is generally used with a Services Agreement or Independent Contractor Agreement.
